How does a multi-apartment intercom system work?

A panel at the building entrance has buttons for each apartment. A visitor presses the relevant button, which calls the indoor unit (or phone app) of that apartment. The resident can speak to the visitor and unlock the main entrance remotely.

Can the intercom integrate with my existing CCTV system?

Yes. We integrate IP intercoms with CCTV systems so that when the doorbell is pressed, the nearest camera's live feed automatically appears on your indoor monitor. Entry events are also logged against CCTV timestamps for a complete record.

What happens if the internet goes down?

IP intercoms operate on the local network — calls between the gate panel and indoor monitor work without internet. Internet is only required for remote smartphone access. We configure systems with local fallback so internal building communications are never interrupted.
