Can motorised curtains be added to my existing curtain tracks?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no — it depends on the type and condition of your existing tracks. In many cases we replace the track with a compatible motorised version. The fabric and rings from your existing curtains can often be reused.

Do motorised blinds need to be wired into the wall?

For the cleanest installation, wired connection is preferred. However, many motor options use rechargeable battery systems that charge via USB — no wall wiring needed. Battery motors are ideal for retrofit projects.

How quiet are the motors?

Modern motorised curtain and blind systems are remarkably quiet — less than 40 decibels in operation, similar to a quiet conversation. We can demonstrate before installation.

Can I still open and close curtains manually?

Yes. Manual operation is always possible — you can pull fabric curtains by hand and the motor will follow without resistance. You can also use a wall switch, remote control, or app at any time.
